This Bureau of Reclamation HVAC design/build renovation and upgrade of the Shasta Dam Visitor’s Center employed a Superintendent, combination Quality Control (QC)/Safety officer to supervise 3 subcontractors (Mechanical, Electrical and Coring) and Z Squared staff workers.

All ongoing Owner contact was maintained through the On-site Governing Representative (OGR) and Field Inspector on this secure badge site.

Access to, and safety considerations on the job-site were somewhat fluid with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the evolving state and federal safety regulations. The site was closed to the public initially, and then opened up with entry oversight performed by Z Squared staff, with no incident of infection transmission.
